St. Augustine Splash Park Review
The St. Augustine splash park is a great place to bring your kids during the summer months, they can play for hours while you sit back and relax. Built in November 2008, the St. Augustine splash park has become a popular place to let the kids cool off on a hot summer day. There are several jets that surge recycled water into the air and kids like to step on the various jets watching others shoot higher! The best thing about the St. Augustine Splash Park is that it’s free admission, with free parking too!
The St. Augustine splash park is right next to the St. Augustine Pier on the one side, and on the other is a big ‘sand box.’ There is plenty of room and sand, for all the kid’s beach toys and shovels. They can dance in the water fountains and then move over to the sand area until they want to come back again and rinse off. It’s a great combination, right on the ocean and a wonderful place to take the kids for an outing. There are benches all around the area with covered seating for lunches and snacks, and for parents to rest, and the cost to walk out on the Pier from the St Augustine splash park is only $.50, and is free for children under 6.
Also on the site with the St. Augustine Splash Park is the Visitor’s Information Center, which is open from 8am to 5pm, with public restrooms available. Have a wonderful day at the St Augustine Splash park and everything that comes along with it.
