Splash Factory in Grand Prairie Texas is a wonderful spot for kids of all ages to cool off and have some fun. The splash park are located at 601 East Grand Prairie Road behind the Charley Taylor Recreation Center.
Several play areas are set up for specific age groups. Trained lifeguards are on duty, and they enforce the age limits in each section for the children’s safety. Play areas at the Grand Prairie Splash Park include ground sprays, a water wall, a magic touch water gun, play structures, power geysers, and spray cannons. These are all connected to touch buttons that let the kids be in control of the play features for even more fun.
Splash Factory pumps over 2,000 gallons of water per minute through the park. For conservation reasons they have installed a chlorination and filter system that recirculates the park’s water.
The splash pad is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 in the morning until 6:00 in the evening. On the weekends they are open from 1:00 in the afternoon until 6:00 in the evening.
