Phoenix has many water play parks, but one of the best and a favorite among parents is the Pecos Park spray pad. It’s located at 48th and Pecos Road in the Ahwatukee Foothills area. Each summer, Pecos Park is a favorite place to spend a fun filled day for the entire family.
Pecos Park is a 66 acre play park offering fun for all ages. Lighted fields provide hours of playing time for soccer and football. A large playground with a spray pad and a skating plaza are designed for activity and fun. The beautiful tennis and volleyball courts offer additional activities to all players.
The swimming pool is open during the warmer months and is a favorite with many people. They have a training class for lifeguards and provide swimming lessons for all ages. Season passes are available at the pool.
Walking paths line the park and provide a wonderful way for people to exercise with ease. You don’t have to leave the other members of the family at home either. The park has an off leash area for your pets.
The Pecos Park spray pad is designed and decorated with children in mind. The misting and sprayers will delight and thrill your kids bringing smiles and laughter and new memories. A wonderful way to cool off after a day of fun in the sun, but be safe and always keep an eye on the children.

Enter the park from 48th street, via Chandler Blvd. The park is open daily 5:30 AM to 10:30 PM. The park is free, but the pool charges adults $3.00, Seniors and children (17 and under) $1.00.
