Memorial Park has a lot to offer, but it’s centerpiece is the safe fun water filled splash pad fun for all small children. Memorial Park splash pad is located in Fort Wayne, with splash pads at six other parks in Fort Wayne area. Splash parks include splash pad touch-activated water features for smaller children. Splash pads are small areas of standing water that require less detailed supervision for small children then you would normally experience at a pool or beach.
Additional park amenities include water umbrellas features, ground geysers and nozzles above ground. Rain sticks are great for small children, along with the Fire hydrant soaker which is a favorite with kids. All of the amenities have water spraying everywhere 3ft – 4ft tall.
Splash pad hours are from 9am – 9pm.
Added benefits that families should be aware of are trash cans, benches, tables and fenced safe areas for smaller children. Memorial Park Splash Pad opened in 2009, and all six parks have been greatly appreciated by parents in and around the Fort Wayne area.
