If you happen to be in the Coward, South Carolina area this summer be sure to visit the Lynches River Splash Pad to experience as much fun as you would expect from a water theme park at a fraction of the price. This Splash Pad is conveniently located near the beautifully historic Lynches River, within the county park property of the same name.
One of the water parks features, which is sure to be a favorite for parents with young children, is a large shallow zero ft. entry area which is reminiscent of times spent sitting in a surf chair, watching your child play at the beach.
The Lynches River Splash Pad has a variety watery fun structures and features for every ability level, which is sure to delight all ages of park goers; as well a large wading pool is available for those who just want to relax and beat the heat while enjoying the sun.
Overall, the Lynches River Splash Pad is an ideal place for the whole family to enjoy summer fun!
The Splash Pad is also available for private rentals during the summer months from 9AM-11AM or on weekends in September during the time blocks of: 11AM-1PM, 1:30PM-3:30PM, and 4PM-6PM for Saturday
or 1:30PM-3:30PM and 4PM-6PM on Sunday. A rental reservation can be made at (843) 667-0920.
Before your visit please call ahead because although the park is generally open except for Mondays during the summer months; with the daily hours being 11AM-6PM Tuesday through Saturday and Sundays from 1PM-6PM; weather conditions can cause the park to close.
The admission price is $3 for those up to the age of 17 while those over the age of 17 are admitted FREE if attending with a person age 17 or younger with a paid admission.
Children not toilet trained must wear swim diapers and plastic pants.
