Lake Mary Splash Parks Review
Lake Mary splash parks in Florida offer amusement facilities for adults and kids. It’s a nice change from the beach or pool and much has been designed for the kids’ to add the fun that a pool can’t provide.
Wooton Park located in Tavares, Florida is one of the Lake Mary splash parks located on the north shore of Lake Dora. Entry is two dollars and life guards watch over the kids. It is open from 10am to 6pm. The splash park appears new, is very clean and well maintained. There are lots of shady trees, benches and seats for the adults. The area is entirely fenced in. Mister fans, public boat docks and a seaplane rental make this one of the best Lake Mary splash parks.
The park is pretty with the restrooms portraying wildlife murals. Water fountains add to the festivity. Across the street is a great selection of restaurants including an ice cream place. Outside seating is a treat especially since they offer live music. Pavilions can be rented. Seaplane tours from 12-14 minutes begin at thirty five dollars for adults.
Affordable fun for busy kids can be found at Trailblazer Park near Timacuan Country Club. It has an older and newer section with ball courts and a skate park. The entry fee is two dollars. Hours are from 9am – 8pm. The splash pad is small but it has a variety of misters, jets, and buckets and other features that dump water on people. The park is clean but has no rent pavilions.
An adjacent shelter offers lots of tables. Behind is a tiny limited playground for kids five years old and up. A large webbed structure is available for climbing. The spinning chairs can be challenging for younger children to use so be careful! Most of all, have fun!
