The Bi-Centennial Park sprayground is located at 9349 Sunset Drive in Frisco, Texas. It was built in 1976, the Bi-Centennial year. Five acres of fun filled water system playgrounds. If you’re looking for a place to cool off, this is the place you want to be at. They have a lighted in line hockey court, two sand volleyball courts, water playgrounds, picnic pavilions, barbeque grills and a nicely paved parking area. Open daily starting at 10 am. until 8 pm.
Make sure you take along some waterproof sunscreen because the kids will want to play on the splash pad all day. This park is the third park in Frisco to have the sprayground feature. The Bi-Centennial sprayground uses fresh treated water. It has a non-slip rubber surface and less than an inch of standing water for safety reasons. Spray nozzles spray water in the air for your kids to enjoy. This system is actually safer than a swimming pool. Your kids can run and play tag or your toddlers can sit and have the water spray on them. This creates hours of fun for kids of all ages and adults too.
