Bartholomew splash pad is in the fifty-seven acre Bartholomew District Park located at 5200 Berkman Drive in Austin, Texas. There are three areas in the park that can be reserved and a number of amenities. The park has been improved by the neighborhood though the years with volunteers giving donations to assist with the painting of buildings, equipment for the playground and the planting of trees.
The Bartholomew Splash pad is the only one in the park. The facility which is available for recreational play is open from mid May until mid September when it closes for the season. Visitors to the park can enjoy the Bartholomew splash pad from nine in the morning until eight in the evening seven days a week during the season. There is no charge for admission to the park or the use of the splash pad.
Bartholomew Park is shaded with a number of amenities that include picnic tables and a picnic shelter. The park also provides tennis courts, volleyball courts, basketball courts and baseball fields. There is a playground, seven barbeque pits and a multipurpose field to help ensure something for everyone. The park even has a fenced in area for visitors’ dogs.
