The Aquatic Playground Splash Pad in Glendale is one the best ways to give your kids something to do on a hot summer day. Best of all, it’s free. This splash pad is a massive 8,500 square foot area of water fun. It is filled with spouts, nozzles, and buckets that will keep your children entertained for hours.
The Aquatic Playground Splash Pad is located at 83rd Avenue and Bethany Home Road. It is open seven days a week beginning May 28th. It closes for the season on September 5th. The Aquatic Playground Splash Pad opens at 9am, and does not close until sunset. These days and hours will allow for many fun trips to the park during the hot summer months.
There are a few rules that should be followed when visiting the splash pad. Children under six need to be within arms reach of an adult at all times. Children 7 and 8 are free to play alone, but an adult must be in the park with them at all times. Children 9 and over are able to play without any required supervision. The park also asks that children that are sick not to be brought. This compromises the health of other children and is of course discouraged.
This park is an excellent free way to offer your children a fun time playing in the water. Get out this summer and let your children burn off some of that boundless energy by visiting the Aquatic Playground Splash Pad. You’ll be so glad you did!
