Splash Pad member review!

The Altadena splash park at 3711 E. Altadena Avenue is a nice spot to take your kids if you live in the north Scottsdale area. The splash pad which is approximately 2 years old is in great shape and my kids love it. With the misters, ground geysers and spout sprayers this park has a number of interactive water elements the kids will enjoy.
The Altadena splash park has a number of shaded areas including a ramada. There is also a BBQ area if you’re planning a full day, birthday party or family outing. The park seems to be open all week from early morning to early evening.
I was a little disappointed that there’s no restrooms so make sure you have plenty of diapers or have the kids use the bathroom before you leave home. Also, whenever I visit the park I pack a small soft sided cooler for some food and drink options. Pack your sun block as well!
I find the park is typically less busy in the morning, although some afternoons have been too. Once you’ve visited the park a few times you’ll notice how busy it can get.

It’s a great park, but not having restrooms is a big problem. If you have kids that need to go, the day is over. Unless you’re willing to drive somewhere and go back.
I was thinking of having my son’s bday party here, but with no restrooms around that is definitely a deal breaker.
